
CHC33021 - Certificate III in Individual Support




Course Duration & Structure
- Delivered face-to-face, at two days per week at 8 hours per day for 26 weeks
- Workplace Tasks applications 7 scheduled workshops across the whole course at 7 hours per day;
- Research and project work (15 hours per week); and
- Minimum of 120 hours of practical experience within a Aged Care or Community Care Facility.
Entry Requirements
- Applicants will be required to undertake a Pre-Training Review to determine English level and overall suitability for the course, and;
- Current Police Check.
- Students are required to demonstrate that they have completed HLTAID011 - Provide First Aid
Pathways
Upon completion of this course, students can undertake higher qualifications such as:
- CHC42021 – Certificate IV in Community Services
- CHC43015 – Certificate IV in Ageing Support
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
For students who have previously completed a Nationally Accredited course maybe eligible to receive credit towards the course.RPL is offered to any Learner who can provide evidence of competency for the units offered within this Certificate III in individual support course. During the enrolment process a potential Learner may discuss any prior evidence before commencing training to determine if they are eligible for RPL. An additional fee for this service will be discussed with you upon application.

For eligible student students, Victorian and Commonwealth Government funding is available through the Skills First Program.
For full fee paying students, payments plans may be available
- Concession fee: $150 (includes GST)
- Non Concession fee: $750 (includes GST)

- Replacement of lost learner resources is an additional charge
- A payment of AUD $20 may be required for the re-issuing of official academic transcript
- The student tuition fees as published are subject to change given individual circumstances at enrolment
