
22639VIC - Certificate II in English as an Additional Language (Access)
This English language course is designed for individuals who are acquiring English as an additional language. Attending this course will help develop your abilities in speaking, listening, reading, and writing English. You will get opportunities for:
- Participating in simple conversations and transactions
- Giving and responding to simple spoken information and directions
- Reading and writing simple informational and transactional texts
- Exploring transport options and Locating medical and health information




Course Duration & Structure
- Delivered face-to-face, at two days per week at 6 hours per day for 26 weeks;
- Real life applications (4 hours per week);
- Research and project work at 3 hours per week.
Entry Requirements
- Applicants will be required to undertake an English assessment in two parts;
- Informal interview – to assess spoken English language skills;
- Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) written test – to assess written English language skills; and
- Minimum entry score of ACSF level 1.

For eligible student students, Victorian and Commonwealth Government funding is available through the Skills First Program.
For full fee paying students, payments plans may be available
- Concession fee: $200.00 (includes GST)
- Non Concession fee: $1000.00 (includes GST)
- Fee for service: $4787.50 (includes GST)

- Replacement of lost learner resources is an additional charge
- A payment of AUD $20 may be required for the re-issuing of official academic transcript
